Getting Started
AI for Meeting
Meet in any languages. No work after it ends.
What is AI Notetaker in Doraverse?
AI Notetaker is your all-in-one AI meeting assistant. It provides live translation across 60 languages with high accuracy and natural, native-sounding output, and automates meeting work end-to-end, so your team can stay present during the discussion and move faster after.
AI Notetaker helps you:
Turn live meetings or uploaded recordings into a full transcript, structured notes, and editable action items.
Translate meetings in real time into your preferred language, and/or generate notes in a chosen output language.
Two capture experiences: bot-less capture (privacy-first) and bot-assisted capture (fully automatic).
Ask AI during and after the meeting (no re-watch)
Multiple summary templates depending on team and purpose
Better outcomes in not-ideal conditions (noise, accents, mixed languages)
Keep meetings organized with tags, search, and sharing options.
Capture a meeting
Doraverse AI Notetaker supports three ways to capture and process conversations:
Start a record (Online or In person)
Upload recording
Live Interpreter (real-time translation)
Online meeting
Start recording from Doraverse while your meeting runs on your meeting platform. This is best for team meetings, customer calls, interviews, and recurring sessions.
Online meetings support two capture options:
Option 1: Bot-less capture
Use this when you want a privacy-first experience and full control. Doraverse records the meeting audio from your browser while you stay in the conversation.
It works with Zoom, Google Meet, and similar browser-based meeting tools (as long as you can share the tab/window and include system audio).
Option 2: Bot-assisted capture
Use this when you want a fully automatic experience for scheduled meetings.
It's best for teams that want “set it once and it just works". Typically used with calendar-connected meetings so capture starts with minimal manual setup.
In-person meeting
Record using your device microphone for face-to-face discussions. This is best for workshops, office meetings, and on-site conversations.
Use this when you already have a recording and want Doraverse to turn it into usable outputs.
Upload an audio or video file (for example: mp3, mp4, mov).
Doraverse processes the file and generates full transcript, structured notes and action items
This is ideal for past meetings, webinars and interviews recordings and calls recorded by another tool.
3. Live Interpreter
Live Interpreter is designed for real-time translation during a conversation. It focuses on keeping the discussion flowing smoothly across languages.
To use Live Interpreter, follow these steps:
Step 1: Choose your translation mode
1-way translation (Auto-detect input)
Use this when you want Doraverse to detect the spoken language automatically and translate into one target language.
Input language: Auto-detect
Output language: Choose your target language
Use this mode when:
You are listening and need instant understanding
A meeting where multiple speakers may mix languages
You want translation without setting language rules upfront
2-way translation
This when two sides are speaking two known languages and you want a clean, consistent setup.
Input language: Choose the language being spoken
Output language: Choose the target language
Use this mode when:
Bilingual meetings with two consistent languages
Negotiations, customer support, or partner calls
Scenarios where accuracy improves when languages are explicitly set
Step 2: Choose where to capture
Online: Use Live Interpreter while the conversation is happening in an online meeting.
In person: Use Live Interpreter in the room using your device microphone.
Step 3: Track your real-time translation
During Live Interpreter, you will see a side-by-side translation layout:
Left: your language
Right: the target language
Generate meeting notes & action items
When the meeting ends, click Pause on the recording bar.
Then choose:
Delete (discard the session)
Generate notes (create recap + action items)
In Generate notes:
Output Language: the language your notes will be written in
Notify me via Email: optionally receive the notes in your inbox
Doraverse then creates full transcript, structured notes, along with suggested action items
Choose a summary template
If your workspace supports summary templates, you can select a format that matches the meeting purpose, for example:
Event/Webinar recap
Sales / customer call recap
Interview notes
Templates help standardize how different teams document meetings without forcing everyone into one style.
Review, refine, and stay accountable
After notes are generated:
Tag the meeting (team, project, quarter) so it stays easy to find later
Edit Notes to tighten wording, highlight decisions, or add context
Fix speaker labels in Transcript if anything is misidentified
Review & Edit action Items like: edit titles and details; assign owners, set due dates or add additional tasks.
Everything is editable so your team can make the output match how you actually work.
Ask AI during and after the meeting
When you don’t want to re watch a long recording, use Ask AI to catch up in seconds.
Use "Ask AI" when you need to:
Clarify what someone meant in a specific moment
Pull out decisions and rationale
Summarize what changed in the last 10 minutes
Extract risks, blockers, or follow-ups
Turn discussion into a short email-ready update
Ask AI can be useful both in-meeting (quick clarity while the conversation continues) or post-meeting (analysis, recap formats, and follow-up drafting)
Share and collaborate
Once notes are ready, you can share them in three ways:
Share via email: Use this to send notes to teammates, managers, customers, partners, or vendors—even if they don’t have a Doraverse account.
Share with workspace members: Use this to share inside your workspace so teammates can open and view the meeting note directly in Doraverse.
Share public links: Generate a shareable link so anyone with the link can open and view the notes. Ideal for quick sharing with external attendees; you can disable or revoke the link anytime if needed.
All sharing options are available from the meeting action menu.
Troubleshooting tips
If your transcript is empty or incomplete (online meetings):
Make sure you enabled Also share system audio in the browser share dialog
Confirm the correct tab/window is being shared
Check your meeting platform audio output is playing through the shared source
